Fishing at artificial lake Neves

The artificial lake Neves, built in the early 60s, at the end of the valley, surrounded by the peaks of the Zillertaler Alps, lies at 1800 meters above sea level. It can be fished on trout, char and grayling, with fine specimens of up to 70cm not to be uncommon.


  • Fishing is allowed with only one rod and a hook, except for the flyfishing with max. 2 flies or the "Camoliera system" with max. 3 flys
  • When using natural baits the hook must have a minimum aperture of 1 cm and be barbless
  • The flyfishing area is signposted and may only be fished with the fly
  • Withdrawal: 3 fish, of which only 1 grayling (min. 40cm). Only 1 fish that is being kept is allowed to be > 50cm.
  • minimum size: RT-LT-CH 30cm, MT 35cm (max 2 fish), grayling 40cm (max 1 fish)
